Belair is a K-6 school, situated next to Westfield Kotara. The grounds are spacious and tree dotted. The school is bordered by Hudson Park and quiet residential streets.
Belair achieves high academic results, with particular focus on Literacy and Numeracy. The school participates in a diversity of cultural and performance activities including a school concert band, dance groups, school choir and Star Struck.
Student Welfare is a very important aspect of our school life.
Belair encourages all Year 6 students to assume a leadership role within the school body.
The school encourages parental involvement in school life through classroom volunteer work and participation in special events. An active P&C and Parent Support Group support school targets. New members are always welcome.
An Out of School Hours (OOSH) centre operates within the school grounds.
Belair Staff, Community and Students have pooled their ideas on what is valued in relation to teaching and learning at Belair Public School.
These ideas have been distilled into four key things we value, our beliefs around these values and what our actions into the future will be to ensure these values sit at the centre of everything we do.
